PNG’s new farm-to-city supply chain

Brief:
The World Bank’s private investment arm, IFC, has partnered with local Papua New Guinean organizations to create an efficient low cost supply chain between the fertile Highlands and Port Moresby and this needed to be described in not just words but pictures.

Solution:
Afterglow travelled throughout the Highlands filming local men and women farmers as they harvested and delivered their wide-ranging fresh produce to a local depot where it was transported to by road and ship to Port Moresby.

Result:
The resulting short video has been screened to neighbouring government and private investors who now see this as a pilot scheme to be duplicated across other PNG regions.
