Indigenous fishing rights – Marilyn

Afterglow has worked with an indigenous community on the NSW South Coast and Oxfam to help restore their traditional fishing rights.

Hearing the mob talk about their traditions and tailoring short docos about them and their reliance on fishing was a privilege.

Our short films were distributed through the mob and Oxfam’s networks with the result being a re-setting of relationships between the communities and Fisheries NSW, police and government.
