Brief:
The World Bank’s private investment arm, IFC, kick-started the new small solar market in Papua New Guinea where recently over 90% of the country was off the grid. New solar take-up rates rocketed to over 20% and a video seemed a perfect way to communicate this success.
Solution:
Afterglow filmed in PNG villages targeted by the Lighting PNG campaign where locals all wanted lighting so kids could work on their homework at night.
Result:
The short video featured in IFC’s Creating Markets presentations and screened to investors, Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the NZ Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
