Indigenous fishing rights – Wally

To work with Oxfam and the indigenous community on the NSW South Coast and to help restore the Yuin mob’s traditional fishing rights.

Afterglow worked closely with indigenous fishermen and women to capture their hybrid old and new fishing techniques and weave these into their stories about their age-old fishing traditions.

Our short films were distributed through the mob and Oxfam’s networks with the result being a re-setting of relationships between the communities and Fisheries NSW, police and government.
