Working with clients exploring design, form, construction, and sustainability in the built environment.

Over the years Afterglow has interviewed leading architects like Harry Seidler, Philip Cox, Glenn Murcutt, Rick Leplastrier, Peter Stutchbury and Richard Johnson and explored their designs and constructions.

Their work is often beautiful, imposing, sculptural … and we at Afterglow embrace this with more than our usual enthusiasm. Our unswerving approach is to capture the human spirit within each building, to bear witness to the individual and group’s experience of the built environment, or what Vitruvius summarised as “firmness, commodity and delight.”

Much of our film production work also focuses on sustainability and the minimisation of energy, materials and other resources like water in a building’s creation, use and ongoing maintenance. This is the kind of area we’ve explored with organisations like the Supply Chain Sustainability School, World Bank Group, Stockland, NSW Office of Environment and Heritage and others.
